The Jack Vasel Memorial Fund was started in April, 2011, in memory of Jack Vasel, son of Tom Vasel. Tom is an influential voice in the board gaming hobby, and the community rallied around him in his time of need. All proceeds from the auction go to the Jack Vasel Memorial Fund. The fund is a not-for-profit with a simple goal: raising and distributing funds to help gamers in their hour of need. Visit JackVasel.org http://jackvasel.org/ for more information.
**If you (or someone you know) are a member of the gaming community who has suffered a personal hardship**, please contact the Jack Vasel Memorial Fund. Tom and the rest of the Board of Directors are happy to work with you to explain our eligibility criteria, confirm your situation is within our mission statement, and then provide assistance.
