Thinking about joining van life looking for suitable vehicles

Hey all, I’m thinking about joining van life for a short time maybe for 6 months to a year. And looking for a van/suv. I feel like I want more suv or jeep brand. Again I’m not sure. I want cozy as much a possible and to travel across Canada. Is there any tips/ struggles that aren’t talked about.
