Any Mac users here?
I need some help!
I got a new (refurbished) iMac and so far all is going well. However i have a little problem with my network.
It doesn't matter which browser i've tried (Brave, Tangled, FireFox, Safari) they all seem to not load certain websites like mozilla, discord, paypal, steam or kraken. Some other websites (like tangled & youtube) are no problemo. So far ive already tried deactivating my firewall, deleting caches, reseting router but all with no results.
And its not just Browser related, like for example i can open exodus and even updated it, but steam won't update.
If someone can help me find a solution that'll work , i'll reward with 10,000,000 Millix.
Please DM if further Info is needed.

Reading further....
open up a terminal and ping 8.8.8.8 and do an nslookup paypal.com or somesuch.
It might be something actually kinda weird.... like mtu size or something.
Those issues are really really annoying.

Cheers Doc! Yeah now it's just a waiting game, im glad im oldschool and have movies and music downloaded on an external hard drive so i'll atleast have some entertainment until its fixed.
I did a ping test and as u can see i can access tangled and
but when pinging paypal.com/8.8.8.8 i get "Destination Host Unreachable"

most possibly some firewall of the router/provider or something blocking since multiple parties sharing the same internet have these issues along with bad connection. Already called the provider and waiting for them to get back to me with further intel and hopefully a fix.
Have you tried accessing these sites with VPN? Maybe there are some conflicting extensions installed?
Cant use a VPN because i cant even get a VPN service. ALso no extensions installed at all, this is a fresh setup. I'll have a call with the provider tomorrow, there is nothing i can do that i haven't already tried at this point. Thanks for trying to help tho.
There is a free VPN from https://windscribe.com/. It doesn't give a lot of data/locations, but maybe it's fine to test? I hope you manage to fix your problem!
Very nice of you but i cant access the page. It wont load. Thats the issue, i can't access 90% of pages, i cant even access paypal, but youtube is fine so i really dont know what the issue is.
thanks for the call to assistance, we have an IT guy living in our house and since several aprtments share the same router they all have the same issues. So IT guy tried to find out and like any good IT guy couldn't find any apparent issue. So the problem most likely is the firewall of the router which only the provider can fix... will have to call the service tomorrow and hopefully don't have to wait till next week for them to fix it. Really annoying tho because it prevents me from accessing most of my wallets and further setting up my new computer.
try using a vpn... It may be something that the service provider is 'saving' you from doing.
also try changing your dns to 8.8.8.8
