Korea needed 3 of 9 games to go their way to qualify for round of 32. 0 of the 4 of those games that have been played so far have gone Korea’s way.
Nine games following Korea’s loss to South Africa would have/would affect Korea’s odds of qualifying for the knockout stage. To qualify, South Korea needs any 3 to go their way:
Ecuador does not win against Germany: Failed
Japan wins by 2 against Sweden: Failed
Austrailia and Paraguay do not tie: Failed
Senegal loses or wins only by 1 against Iraq: Failed
The rest of our hopes are in:
Egypt beats Iran
Spain beats Uruguay
Ghana beats Croatia
Uzbekistan does not lose to Congo DR
Austria beats Algeria
Honestly decent odds considering how little they deserve it. But what started as 92% vegas odds is rapidly dwindling before our eyes.
