Cardo crash detection false message
My emergency contact got a crash detection message from my Cardo this morning. Thing is, my unit was off, not even connected to my phone, my phones bluetooth was off and the Cardo app wasnt even open. I have also not even been out of the house today. I didn't get any message either to cancel the alarm. Whats even scarrier is that they got my exact location.
What happened yesterday though is that i went home to...go to the bathroom. I wanted to be quick so i left my helmet on my bike. While I was in the bathroom a heavy rain came out of nowhere and got all into the helmet and on the cardo unit n stuff. It was fun, i sat one hour more to dry the inside of my helmet with a hair dryer (ofc i pulled the cardo wires out so i wont damage them). I dont think this could have affected the unit though, its supposed to be waterproof right? And ive been tru heavy rain with it before.
Anyone had this happen to them before?
