I'm interested in finding some folktales (or traditional stories) to tell my young children. Aside from Ananse stories and The hare & the tortoise, it seems most popular stories are from other parts of the world.
Can anyone share a folktale they heard growing up? Do you have a local equivalent of stories like the Hare and the Tortoise or The boy who cried Wolf?
Or any recommendations of a decent compilation of African traditional stories?
