> **“O you who have believed, fasting has been prescribed for you as it was prescribed for those before you, that you may attain taqwā (God-consciousness).”**

### **ﷺ TODAY'S HADITH**
> **الصَّلَوَاتُ الْخَمْسُ، وَالْجُمُعَةُ إِلَى الْجُمُعَةِ، وَرَمَضَانُ إِلَى رَمَضَانَ، مُكَفِّرَاتٌ لِمَا بَيْنَهُنَّ إِذَا اجْتُنِبَتِ الْكَبَائِرُ**
> **“The five daily prayers, from one Jumu'ah to the next, and from one Ramadan to the next, are expiation for (sins committed) between them, so long as major sins are avoided.”**
> **— Sahih Muslim 233**

### **💎 TODAY'S WISDOM**

**1️⃣ THE FRIDAY OF RAMADAN** – Today is not just any Friday—it is the **first Jumu'ah of Ramadan 1447 AH**. The blessings of this day are multiplied, the du'as are magnified, and the mercy descends in torrents. The Prophet ﷺ said that on Fridays there is an hour—hidden but certain—when no believer asks Allah for anything except that He grants it. In Ramadan, that hour is even more potent.

**2️⃣ TAQWĀ: THE GOAL OF FASTING** – The verse above makes clear: fasting is not merely hunger and thirst. It is a training ground for **taqwā**—that sacred state where you obey Allah not out of fear of punishment, but out of such profound love and awareness that you avoid sin even when no one sees. Ramadan builds this consciousness.

**3️⃣ EXPIRATION BETWEEN RAMADANS** – The hadith teaches that one Ramadan expiates the sins of the previous year—but only if we reach this Ramadan in a state of repentance. If we entered Ramadan with unrepented sins, the expiation still applies, but its light is dimmed. Today, on this blessed Friday, is the perfect moment to renew our tawbah.

**4️⃣ THE INTERSECTION OF TWO BLESSINGS** – When Ramadan and Jumu'ah meet, the believer stands at the intersection of the **best month** and the **best day**. It is as if the gates of heaven swing wider open. The salawat upon the Prophet ﷺ on this day are presented to him directly. The du'as of this hour are wrapped in the blessings of the month.

### **⚡ DAILY ACTION STEPS FOR THIS BLESSED FRIDAY**

**1️⃣ SURAH AL-KAHF** – Recite Surah Al-Kahf today. Its light illuminates not just this Friday, but the entire week until the next Jumu'ah. In Ramadan, its recitation carries multiplied reward.

**2️⃣ THE HIDDEN HOUR** – Seek the hour of acceptance. The strongest opinions place it in the **last hour before Maghrib** (between 'Asr and sunset), or during the **khutbah** (sermon), or after the **imam's ascent to the pulpit**. In this sacred month, raise your hands for the Ummah, for Palestine, for the oppressed, and for your own deepest needs.

**3️⃣ ABUNDANT SALAWĀT** – The Prophet ﷺ commanded: *"Send abundant blessings upon me on Friday."* Today, make it 100, 500, or 1000 times. Let every salawāt be a bridge between your soul and the Beloved ﷺ.

**4️⃣ CHARITY ON FRIDAY** – Charity on Friday is superior to charity on other days. In Ramadan, it is superior still. Give even a date, even a smile, even a kind word. The Prophet ﷺ was most generous in Ramadan, more generous than the blowing wind.

### **🤲 DU'A OF THE DAY**

**"O Allah, on this blessed day, and in this noble month, forgive us our sins, accept our fasting, have mercy on our weakness, mend our brokenness, open for us the doors of Your mercy, and close against us the doors of Your Fire. O Allah, we ask You in this hour to grant us Your love, the love of those who love You, and the love of every deed that brings us closer to Your love."**

**ĀMĪN.**

**TOMORROW'S FOCUS:**
**1️⃣ THE VIRTUES OF STANDING IN NIGHT PRAYER (TARAWĪH)**

**3️⃣ SUNNAH OF I'TIKĀF (SPIRITUAL RETREAT) – PREPARATION**

*"The best of deeds with Allah are those done consistently, even if few."*
**— Prophet Muhammad ﷺ (Sahih al-Bukhari)**

You have completed three days of Ramadan. The excitement of the first day may have settled, but the marathon continues. Today, on this blessed Friday, renew your intention. Ask yourself: *"Am I closer to Allah today than I was before Ramadan began?"* If yes, thank Him. If not, turn to Him now—the door is still wide open, and the caller still announces: **"O seeker of good, come forward!"**

May this Jumu'ah in Ramadan be the turning point in your spiritual journey. May your du'as be accepted, your fast be pure, and your night prayers be a light in your grave and on the Sirāt. Ameen.
