Fencing exam/demonstration in Yasukuni-jinja?
Hi, I was in Tokyo in late March, and while there I visited Yasukuni-jinja (ironic name btw). On a terrace in front of the main Tori there was what I assume was a fencing demonstration/exam between many couples of an older and younger persons (i assume master and student), of both sexes. It looked very ritualised, and there was somewhat of a small audience in front (mostly older Japanese people).
I'm still wandering what it was since I couldn't find any information. I could have asked, but was shy, and my Japanese isn't that good :)
