In my high school days, I cherished reading the Holy Bible…

In my high school days, I cherished reading the Holy Bible every night before bed, a sacred ritual that grounded my soul. That changed after a devastating event shattered my world, and honestly, it's been about 12 years since I let go of that nightly habit.

I've caught verses online or during Mass, but nothing compares to opening my own Bible, feeling its pages under my fingers.

Today, after so long, something stirred me to return but would I be really able to? I realized I've spent years lost in endless issues and distractions, yet struggled to reclaim this simple spiritual practice.

This part I memorized back then became my absolute favorite, and even inspired a campaign I ran when I was still in the University:

Sirach 3:21-24
21 Do not seek what is beyond your powers nor search into what is beyond your ability.
22 Reflect on what you are commanded to do; there is no need for you to know the things that are hidden.
23 Do not tire yourself in resolving useless questions since the knowledge you already have goes beyond human understanding.
24 For many have been led astray by their personal theories and false pretensions has undermined reason.

There are times when the devil tries to get into your heart, fueling you to give in to sin. But because you naturally have a 'seed of light' within you, you haven't turned bitter or done anything to hurt others.
However, because life has been so busy and the burdens you’re carrying are so heavy, prayer has fallen by the wayside. That 'fire' for the Lord in your heart has started to fade.
I’m praying that the seed of light inside you sparks once more, and that the flame in your heart starts burning brightly again🤲🤲🤲🙏✨✨✨
