I was there. Last summer in my long car journey through #Europe I fount this paradise in the small town of Pigna next to Dolceacqua an historical town with a 1000 year old castle. On a morning walk up the mountain (1200m) we came across a rocky stream which used to power an old watermill. beneath the mill the stream turned into a series of natural pools that took my breath away. It looked like a dream, the water was crystal clear and very cold but I had to jump in. It was incredibly invigorating 😀. after dipping for a few hours we went for a meal with a view and found out that that same view was enjoyed over a century ago by Claude Monet who turned it into 1 of his famous paintings. That was a day I'll never forget.✨
