do u consider matcha making a hobby?
saw this thread of replies on tiktok and i js found it so confusing.. imagine someone asks u what ur hobby is and ull respond ‘matcha’ or ‘matcha-ing’ obviously thats not a hobby? like who will respond like that? of course it becomes a hobby when u experiment with recipes (there are literally classes for this), making it everyday not just for urself but also for those close to u 🥲 theres js so many issues revolving matcha making at home nowadays esp bcs of the overconsumption of milks and sweeteners (crazy) but we forget that there are actually people out there who genuinely finds joy in making the drink and drinking it.
