How do you find one specific old shot in an archive of thousands?
I've got years of photos across a few external drives and finding one specific shot has become painful. I remember the scene but not the date or folder, so I end up scrolling for ages.
Curious how others handle this:
* How do you organize your archive right now?
* Last time you had to dig out one specific old shot, how did it actually go?
* Roughly how much time do you lose to this in a typical week?
* Have you tried any tools for searching your photos by what's in them, and did they stick?
Not looking to be sold anything, just want to hear how working photographers deal with this. Thanks.
