Satellite ;
If the Moon was made of cheese, would you eat it? This is a silly question, everyone knows the Moon is not made of cheese. But what is the Moon? What is a satellite? The Moon is considered a satellite, or a small body that is kept orbiting a larger body due to the pull of gravity. Obviously, the Moon is a natural satellite, no one put it there. There are those satellites that are man-made or artificial.
Satellite History ;
In 1957, Russia launched Sputnik 1, the first satellite to be successfully put into orbit. The United States quickly followed suit with Explorer 1 in 1958. Satellites were theoretical long before the first launch. Arthur C. Clarke proposed that satellites could be used to monitor weather as early as 1945. The geosynchronous orbit is also called the Clarke orbit after him. In 1960, a weather balloon named Echo 1 was launched. Through the information gathered, all future satellite transmission equations were hypothesized. In the 1980s, the term "local" changed when satellites were able to bounce signals from around the world.
