MAD MAX 2 (#RetroRevieW)
Max (Mel Gibson) is now a former police officer who travels the desert roads of Australia aboard his V8 Interceptor, eating cans of dog food, fighting to survive another day. On his way he meets Gyro Captain (Bruce Spence), who informs him of a place in the desert where there is a lot of fuel stored in an old oil refinery that continues to operate under the command of Papagallo (Michael Preston) and his gang. However, Papagallo's group is in trouble as the refinery is under siege by a much more powerful rival gang led by the evil Lord Humungus (Kjell Nilsson), along with his deranged lieutenant Wez (Vernon Welles). Max decides to intervene by helping Papagallo and his group in exchange for fuel, being Max's initial motive in the film.
