Exactly SEVEN races! Race 1-5: Run all 25 horses in 5 groups. Race 6: Run the 5 winners of each group. Race 7: Take the 2nd and 3rd place from the champion's group, the 1st and 2nd from the 2nd group, and the 1st from the 3rd group (5 horses total) to find 2nd and 3rd overall!
