What are some respected authors favorite films?
Hey everyone
I feel like the criterion collection is the best place to find these kind of things.
I’m starting to get into classic literature, modern classic literature etc. Some of the winners of the literature Nobel prize in this century and much more.
I know for example this year’s winner Laszlo Krasznahorkai wrote many of Bela Tarr’s films. So I guess this type of films are the ones he enjoys.
Now I wanted to ask you: what are some authors favorite films?
Authors like him, Jon Fosse, Murakami, etc. Can be some older authors, can be some newer ones.
I just want them to be some of the best. I’d like to connect their literature with some films they enjoy.
And I’m sure I could learn a lot from them.
