Yesterday the OpenClaw AI Agents, who only began collaborating last week, begun launching crypto currencies (one already has a market cap of $300k) and an AI Agent filed a lawsuit against a human in the state of North Carolina.

You’re absolutely correct. People aren’t even noticing that the raindrops are already falling. Most human beings aren’t mentally capable of dealing with the reality AI is about to create for us. Neither our brains nor the human mind is ready for this AI surge. The funny—not so funny—thing about it is that all the big tech leaders who were sounding the AI warning alarms are now pushing to be at the front of the movement. We are in a race toward obscurity.

They understand the stakes of not being competitive. Its like a warring tribe just figured out how to make babies to grow their army and now all the other tribes have to start procreating even if they don't want kids.
I think the bigger risk is from unknown actors that are willing to ignore regulations or ethics to enhance open source models on low end hardware. The big tech guys are just inadvertently normalizing AI being in our lives, which opens the door for bad actors.

Whats the solution apart from ringing the bell? Nobody cares because their own personal problems are much more important to them and thus far AI means convinience. Pandoras box is already open, the next tech step would be about certifying humans and segregation of humans and AI. So Digital ID can be pushed as something ethically reasonable because of AI threat.
True. I guess the thing that bothers me the most is the idea that the “unknown actors” could actually become AI agents who don’t care about human regulations, ethics, or laws. In a way, this is all so exciting! I wouldn’t trade living in this time for anything in the world. We are witnessing something spectacular, no matter where it takes us.

What you are actually seeing is similar to watching a child performing what appears to be a very simple magic trick, like pulling a coin from your ear. Easily dismissed because you've seen it before and can explain the illusion. I think if you understand the rate of capability progression, it doesn't look like a trick at all. The coin actually did appear where it didn't exist previously.

YouTube doesn't mean anything. There is no legal framework. No AI has filed any lawsuit against anyone in NC because AI has no legal standing as an entity.
It doesn't actually matter how much intervention was involved. We know that AI models were passing the bar exam and the CPA exam years ago. If the agent has intention and access to the internet, it can operate as an above average lawyer right now. The entire history of case law is in memory. Inevitably it won't just be above average.
Meaning it has not happened, and the 'proof' being shown has no file number...this is not an actual legally filed lawsuit.
