Portraits intrigue me. This abstract portrait comes from one of my acrylic paintings. We spent several years on Okinawa, Japan. I was thinking of the Japanese people when the atomic bomb hit Hiroshima. I wanted to capture her confused expression the instant she learned about the attack.
Your painting is amazing. Sometimes it is good to think back on our hard ships and the ones around us. It is not the good times that make who we are but the bad.
