1996 Honda CBR600F3 poor idle and loss of power NEED ADVICE
Hey guys, I have a 1996 Honda CBR600F3 that I recently got running again. For a bit of context, when I got the bike, the gas tank was filled with varnish and the carbs were clogged.
I cleaned out the tank, rebuilt the carbs, and bought a new petcock and the bike started and was running great.
That was until I really gave it some gas and it would go and pick up speed, but then die on me at the next red light.
Since then, I took back apart the carbs, cleaned them out again, cleaned the gas tank and petcock and even replaced the fuel pump.
All that solved the issue of the bike dying after giving it power, but now the bike is down on power overall.
Before the new pump, the bike would pick up rapidly after 5k RPMS but now the bike bogs at 5K, has an inconsistent idle, is really down on power, and I noticed my neutral light flickering.
Any suggestions on what to do next? Many thanks!
