Poems that connect thematically with The Lathe of Heaven?
This is probably not the usual kind of post for this sub, but I'm running out of ideas for right now.
I'm interviewing for a literature teaching position. In the course of this interview I have to provide a demo lesson. The school wants me to teach a poem that would match with teaching The Lathe of Heaven. The only problem is I have never read that book. I've tried to see if I can find a copy now, but I don't live in an English speaking country, so finding a copy in person isn't really possible and ordering online would take too long.
I've been researching the themes of the novel online. I was thinking of using Poe's A Dream within a Dream since the novel seems to have some connections with the struggle of knowing what is reality and what isn't. But since I haven't read it before, I'm not sure if that's a good fit or even an accurate understanding of the themes of the novel. Any thoughts?
