Folio Society and Easton Press Books - Intro or no Intro?
I’m thinking about collecting quality books that I could pass on to my future kids. I noticed that Easton Press and Folio Society are excellent for this — but I wonder if they provide introductions like Penguin, Oxford, Norton Critical, et cetera do. I find these introductions and footnotes extremely helpful for providing context and explaining historical references, so I prefer editions that include them.
I just bought the Barnes & Noble Leatherbound Collectibles edition of Anna Karenina (a very visually appealing edition), but to my dismay, it comes with neither introduction nor footnotes/endnotes.
I never had any books from Folio or Easton - do these editions have intros and footnotes? #entertainment source
