Comply or die. With the publication of the MiCA regulation (Markets in Crypto Assets) in the Official Journal of the European Union, its date of entry into force is now known. For stablecoin issuers, it will be from June 2024 that these new constraints will apply. As these crypto-companies prepare to comply as best they can with this new regulatory gas plant, the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) begins to detail the application.
