Best way to "apologize" to neighbors for the late night noise?
Have a newborn who absolutely refuses to sleep at night and screams quite a lot. Our apartment is made of paper at best and sound amplifying material at worst, so sound travels at least 10km in every direction.
Wanted to "sumimasen moushiwakenai" to neighbors from below and maybe gift them something like cookies/sweets or something. But now we have a debate - do I go and ring a bell and give it, or just leave a note with a bag of goods at the door knob?
Or is there a better way/proper etiquette?
And also what's the best stuff to gift in this case? on apartment is a a family (in 30s) with a kid (2yo), another is a single ojisan 60+. #local
