I have graphics card problems

I just built my gaming pc the other day and sometimes I run into a problem where my gpu doesn’t want to be active. Like barely 1% of its being used. Am I doing something wrong with the bios or nvidia settings? My rig is 32 gigs of ddr5 ram, a ryzen 7 9850x3d and a GeForce rtx 5080 OC
