Disappointing Poetry Debuts from Faber
Just looking for other's thoughts.
The recent Faber & Faber poetry debuts the past few years seem to be really lifeless. I'm not a poet, but I love reading new poetry. There have been some great debuts in the past few years from other presses, but for Faber I've only found Gboyega Odubanjo's Adam to be the only worthwhile one. Faber seems to have slipped in quality. Is this just me? I just feel since Lavinia Greenlaw took over as poetry editor the standard has just dropped.
