Leasing Return Experience in Germany
I just returned my leased (premium) car and the whole billing part was a mess. Beforehand, a friend of mine who runs a workshop did a quick check and gave me an estimate of what I should expect at the end of the lease. At the return, the dealer also did a short inspection and their numbers were roughly in the same range.
Then I got the final invoice – about 2,000 € higher than anything that had been mentioned before, with several line items I couldn’t even understand. Zero transparency.
After multiple phone calls, I still couldn’t get a clear explanation of those charges, no goodwill, no help… honestly, this was exhausting. Same experience here and I am right to never want to lease again or am I just unlucky?
