What to get for newly adult sons?
My sons are now 20 and 18 and I’d like to start a tradition of getting them one BIFL item each year for their birthdays. I welcome suggestions as to what you would have liked at their ages and as you grew up. They’re very standard-issue American young men whose basic needs are all met. I’m happy to spend $100 on each and I’m thinking along the lines of truly-functional tool sets, shoes for “fancy” occasions (they’re sneakers-only kinda of kids), “grown up” jackets like pea coats, etc. Thank you!
