Missed Jury Duty in Miami-Dade – What Should I Do Now?
Hi everyone,
I need some advice. I’m in **Miami-Dade County** and I believe I received my jury duty postcard **over two weeks ago**, but I only just saw it now. The postcard says I was on **standby starting 5/16/25**, and I completely missed it.
I haven’t checked in or contacted the court yet — I’m now **late** and not sure what to do. I’ve read that this could lead to a fine or other penalties, but I want to take care of it responsibly.
**What’s the best next step?** Should I call the Jury Services Office and explain? Has anyone gone through this in Miami-Dade and can share what happened?
Any help or experience would be really appreciated!
