Bitcoin is officially worse than even the S&P 500 on the 5-year scale now. What's the point in holding this? It's not a currency either: having failed at being a cheap medium of exchange, it was never a unit of account, and now it fails at being a store of value.

I still have hope for stablecoins. But not as an investment, as digital currency.
But in the topic of Bitcoin: is there any thesis left where this coin becomes relevant ever again? What can Bitcoin offer over others? Besides the hope for a future rug pull?
