Highly recommend this con if you enjoy open gaming.
**Civolution - 8** \- Game of the con! I am not convinced this game is balanced (the guy who won basically just did the same action over and over the entire game), but there is a lot going on and you can accomplish very little in an individual session of it. But I can't stop thinking about it and look forward to exploring it more. PURCHASED
**Sides - 7** \- Really fun "guess the thing" co-op party game. What's especially appealing about it is that people can join in whenever. It's super useful for when you're waiting for people to show up to game day. PURCHASED
**BombBusters - 7** \- Kind of Hanabi-ish. You use information you have to guess player's tiles. Really tense and fun, but also short and simple. Might purchase.
**The Gang - 7** \- Poker game where you try to cooperatively rank your poker hand against your team's. PURCHASED
**Andromeda's Edge - 7** \- Definitely not balanced and some weird rules keep this from achieving greatness. But I had a lot of fun and would play again.
**Cryo - 7** \- Mechanically solid worker placement, but I'm not sure there's much to explore here on subsequent plays.
**Uprising: Curse of the Last Emperor - 7** \- Super heavy co-op game. Setup and take down is a bear, otherwise I would consider purchasing.
**Flip7 - 7** \- Fun push your luck party game sort of like Black Jack. PURCHASED
**Tumball - 7** \- Silly marble balancing dexterity game. Play it on a gaming table otherwise the marbles go everywhere. PURCHASED
**Fishing - 7** \- Really interesting tricktaker. Might end up purchasing.
**Defenders of the Wild - 7** \- Fun co-op, I just wish there was more asymmetry to explore between the factions.
**Tir na Nog - 7** \- Incredibly abstract card game. Mechanically solid. Despite lots of variety, I am not drawn to play it more. Needed more thematic integration.
**Duck & Cover - 6** \- A silly abstract party game. You will say "quack" a lot.
**Fruittoplay - 6** \- Interesting trick taking game, but not predictable enough to make any kind of strategic play.
**Marie Curie - 6** \- I crushed everyone at this, which is always fun. But the game is a bit too simple for my tastes.
**Trekking the World - 5** \- Mechanically solid except for a very strange rule where players block other players' movement. This creates a lot of bottle necking situations that can make the game frustrating. #games source
