No research experience. Need guidance
I did MS from a private university in Lahore back in 2022. At that time I had no plans for further study and was doing a job and since my research skills were already not good I decided to opt for coursework instead of thesis or research. It seemed like an easy way out. The university allowed it and I completed my degree. Now it has been 3 to 4 years and I want to go abroad. Many of my fellow students and colleagues have recently moved out. Some for jobs and some for PhD.
Getting a PhD scholarship compared to a Masters scholarship is easy but it needs great research skills which I totally lack. Now I am stuck at the same place. The only options I can think of are to either remain at the same job or go for a second masters or MS and then PhD. But it will take another 2 to 2.5 years.
If anyone has been in a similar situation please help me out.
