LPT: Never apologize twice for the same mistake. It either reminds them of the mistake or triggers their ego.
Apologizing twice or more sometimes gets very appreciated and very accepted with some kind and wise people who actually value you.
However, in many cases it’s a big mistake to make and indeed makes the matter worse. Never apologize twice for anyone you don’t have strong ties with. Just once and if they don’t accept it move on.
