Is it rude to use siezen with someone even if he tells that you can use duzen?
It has happened with me two times that I met someone in a professional circumstance and they both were by the way easily 20-30 years older than me and within 5 mins they said we can use duzen with each other and I agreed but I kept using Sie with them as in my culture, we always use Sie with older people, no matter what (ofc Sie of my language). So it's uncomfortable for me to do duzen with them. Will a person most likely not like it if I do siezen even after they allowed me to use duzen, especially when they're older? I am comforable with an older person using duzen for me and me using siezen for addressing them. #local source
