Foldable TV trays for laptop work and eating
Anyone have experience using a foldable tv tray in their van? We are not full time but are planning some longer trips. I don’t want something permanent so that we can still move pianos and crap when we aren’t traveling.
We have a foldaway bench seat behind the front seats where we eat if it’s raining or cold. I’d like to be able to also use that space for work. I have an 18” laptop and do a lot of mouse work. My husband is fancy and wants a surface rather than eating off a plate in his lap.
I was looking at the Table Mate style trays. Legs fold in from the sides without a stabilizing crossbar. I know we won’t use something if it’s complex to setup and take down, but I’d also like it to be pleasant enough to use.
