Kwai Chai Hong is now all dressed up for the “Guardians of…

Kwai Chai Hong is now all dressed up for the “Guardians of Legacy” (十二福星) installation to welcome the 2026 Year of the Horse. The old alley has been transformed with 12 zodiac sculptures inspired by traditional Cloth Tiger folk art, plus a striking 7-foot-tall Horse right at the center.

The theme, “Quiet Love,” beautifully reflects the kind of unspoken affection we often see in Asian culture. With glowing zodiac lanterns above and modern art blended into those nostalgic 1960s murals, the whole lane feels almost cinematic. It’s such a cool mix of heritage and creativity.
