LPT: Most “misunderstandings” at work aren’t misunderstandings, they’re poor communication people don’t want to fix
A lot of people like to say “it was a misunderstanding” when something goes wrong.
But in most cases, it’s not really a misunderstanding , it’s just vague communication that nobody bothered to clarify.
We assume. We guess. We avoid asking questions because it feels awkward or “unnecessary.” Then we act surprised when the result doesn’t match what we wanted.
Clear communication isn’t about being perfect, it’s about being direct enough that there’s no room for interpretation.
If something matters, don’t leave it open to guesswork and don’t rely on people reading your mind.
Ask. Confirm. Be specific.
Because most problems don’t come from confusion, they come from silence. #entertainment
