Fighting antisemitic campaigns
So i think its great to have Facebook pages for Jews to get together and share information/ memes etc. But what do we do when its time to band together and take action?!
Im sure many are familiar with the incident where an Israeli couple were called baby killers by a hotel receptionist in California. The guy rightfully got fired and now has an active go fund me campaign. He is going to be rewarded with a large some of money for his vile antisemitic remark, unless enough people flag the campaign for libel.
I would post a link here but after what I experienced on FB, i worry it will get taken down.
It just blows me away that in online communities where we have shared values and are fighting an epidemic of Jew hatred, why would my attempt to bring awareness to that campaign for the sake of flagging it get censored?!
If an admin here gives me permission, i will post a link for it but its easy to find and we need all hands on deck if we want to fight back.
