First game of Innovation - wow
last night me and my partner played out first game of Innovation (4th ed). it was slow going at first as we got to grips with the rules and the mechanics of a turn, and we kept forgetting to check the special achievement cards. But once we got into the game loop towards the end of the game I felt like I was just starting to glimpse something truly great. I could see how each of us inadvertently triggered a sequence that put us ahead, and how that is something we'd be able to do easily when we become more familiar with the cards. I haven't been this excited by a new (to keep) game for a long time. Cannot wait to play again!
