Board Size - How big is too BIG?
From what I can see in the industry, the LGS loves board games that take up as little shelf space as possible while also getting the most "bang" for their buck. However this also greatly limits what designers and players can get out of a game that is stuffed into such small boxes.
Do players actually prefer these smaller games due to the lesser need for space on a table or is this just an industry cost-reduction method that players just have to deal with?
Is there such a thing as too big of a gameboard/play area?
