Hopia Baboy (also spelled hopiang baboy) is one of the most classic, distinctly savory-sweet varieties of hopia in the Philippines. Derived from the Hokkien word "ho-pia," which translates to "good pastry," hopia was originally brought to the country by Chinese immigrants from the Fujian province.
