Beginner struggling with clutch, turns and braking — any tips?
I’m 25 and learning to ride a geared bike (Pulsar 150). I’ve only practiced a few times and I’m struggling with some basic things.
* The bike often stalls when I release the clutch. I think I’m not understanding the bite point properly. * I struggle with turning at low speeds and end up taking very wide turns. * Whenever I need to stop, I instinctively put both feet down and mostly use the front brake. I’m not really using the rear brake yet.
What should I focus on practicing first? Should I spend most of my time practicing the clutch bite point, smooth starts/stops and braking before working on turns and traffic?
**If you were teaching a complete beginner, what are the 3–5 things you’d make them practice repeatedly before riding on normal roads?** #motorcycles source
