LPT: If you feel lazy in the morning and don't want to get out of bed, shift your focus to the simple act of moving. Basic physical movements, like flopping your arms, stretching, or taking a few steps give you the motivation to get up and start your day.

>*Motivation is tightly wound in with the neurochemistry of movement. - Andrew huberman*

Dopamine is the molecule that motivates you to pursue things. It makes your body move. But when you're stuck in bed, you have low dopamine and don't feel like starting your day. But you only need a tiny push to help.

**Movement itself increases dopamine.** It makes your brain feel like it's in pursuit and gives you more momentum. This isn't just exercise. Any movement helps. Moving your arms, stretching, shaking/bouncing, jumping, whatever.

All the activities you're scared of start to look easier. The groggy feeling turns into a refreshing one and you get energized for your day.

If you're lying in bed right now :), don't worry about all the tasks you have later. For now, stick to step 1. Just move. It increases your motivation enough to make other activities much easier.

If you're already rolling with your day. You'll notice his gives you a motivation boost. Move around, walk across the room or hallway, stretch, whatever.

So try it now, It only takes 10 seconds! You'll feel the benefits immediately.

TL;DR **Whenever you feel demotivated, put yourself in motion.**
