7 days worth of food for £22.. plus LOADS of food to spare

Spoilers: no meat. But it also dispells the myth that you can't eat healthy for cheap.

basically, its veg stew twice a day (1/3 tomatoes, 1/3 beans, 1/3 veg)

and overnight oats for breakfast with fruit..

using farmfoods uk (very cheap frozen food store) I spent £22 and made enough food for 7 days (picture shows 3 portions a day minus the one I ate)

plus with a kilo of lentils and about 2kg of veg, 2kg of fruit, 1kg of oats left I could comfortably get another five days making the average portion cost about 60p

obviously this has some significant drawbacks for many namely

1. if you love meat or delicious high calorie foods, this ain't it

2. t's great on a lot of macros including protein due to it being super bean heavy but probably low on vitamin D, and B12. that said if you put whey protein and milk in the Porridge oats you're sorted

but although I'm taking it to an extreme i guess it shows that you could replace one or more of your meals for a very low cost but healthy alternative..
