Who are you judging?

Too often, we fall into the habit of judging—other people, their choices, their behaviors, their dreams. But let me ask you: Who appointed us as the world’s critics? Who decided it was our job to label, to categorize, to close doors rather than open them? The truth is, nothing and no one is asking for our judgment. And here’s the real kicker—judgment doesn’t give us any power. It doesn’t give us control. It only limits our ability to influence.

You see, the world doesn’t need more critics. It needs more coaches, more mentors, more people who recognize potential where others see problems. Instead of shutting people down, why not lift them up? Instead of defining someone by their worst moment, why not help them step into their best? True empowerment isn’t about deciding who’s right or wrong; it’s about seeing beyond the surface, recognizing what could be, and helping others get there.

We don’t control the choices of others, but we do influence them. And influence is the real game-changer. When we stop judging and start supporting, when we shift from tearing down to building up, we create space for growth, for possibility, for transformation. So today, I challenge you—step away from criticism and step into influence. Be the person who opens doors, not the one who closes them. Be the one who sees potential and nurtures it. That’s where real power lies. That’s where real change begins.

If this reached you or there was something that truly resonated with you, please like and share in hopes this will maybe reach someone that it could help.
