LPT: Carry around a short extension cord for your compact laptop charger
The newish 65- and 100-watt solid state gallium nitride (GaN) chargers are smaller and lighter than the old power brigs, but they can be heavy enough to fall out of wall sockets, and they can block outlets. So carry a short extension cord so the charger can sit on the ground and free the other outlet. $3.
