Looking for a good replacement for Do-Si-Dos
My all-time favorite cookie is the Girl Scout Do-Si-Dos, those oatmeal/peanut butter cream sandwich cookies. Since the price is WAY out of my price range ($7.00 for 18 cookies!), I've been on the hunt for something that's similar to these. I even attempted, and miserably failed, to recreate these out of some oatmeal cookies from the store, along with some peanut butter from my house.
Has anyone found a good replacement in the stores for these? The only thing I can find are regular peanut butter sandwich cookies, that have the peanut butter on the outside, instead of the oatmeal on the outside.
