Ahhhh.....there's a blast from the past. Summer.....1980something.....Anaheim California. ☀️🏄♂️🤟
I can tell by my calm demeanor that this was before The Womening over shadowed the universe. Marlboro 100s were $0.55 cents a pack, a 12 pack of Schaefer's Beer was $1.99, bus to Huntington Beach was $0.35 cents. Concert tickets were $10, $15, $20 if you were doing one of the HUGE festival concerts.
A garage band every other block, kegger parties. HUGE explosion of METAL/HARD ROCK coming out of Southern California..... Van Halen, Motley Crue, Quiet Riot, Guns N' Roses, Great White, etc., etc., etc ...the grunge scene still hadn't dripped down from the north.
My moustache was new (not the wiry stack of dead hay that hangs under my nose now). Great times. 😊
But one thing was for sure...my 80s music kicked the ever living shit out of your 80s music! 🤘😆
