Who are some literary characters that are very similar to Henry Winter in The Secret History?
I just finished TSH for the first time and I was really intrigued by Henry. Not just because of his intellect/sociopathic tendencies, but more because of how his true nature and the use of his intellect was revealed slowly to the audience. I also was fascinated with how his true intentions surrounding certain events were left a bit ambiguous.
Do you know of any characters like that in other works of fiction? Any genre is fine except for romance, I am looking for characters who also are unusually intelligent.
