Ben Shapiros grand father, Sidney Shapiro, was an original member of the Jewish Bolsheviks Party which infiltrated and helped invade China to overthrow the former government, where he then lived in Beijing for more than 50 years after he helped win the Bolshevik Revolution. He was directly tied to the Communist Uprising in China and worked directly with Mao Zedong. Because of his role in the revolution, Sydney was one of the few Naturalized Citizens to become an honorary member of the National Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conference which is now known as the National People’s Congress
