It really shows how badly we lack open spaces and safe roads in the Philippines.
Kung meron man, marumi, masikip, or worse, delikado.
It also shows how limited our lifestyle has become when something as simple as riding a bike requires you to spend money just to experience it. Konti lang ang maayos na parks, open spaces, at bike lanes, and even the ones we have are often neglected.
We shouldn’t have to pay just to walk, bike, play, or simply sit somewhere surrounded by trees and greenery. These should be normal parts of everyday life—not something we have to look for in malls or pay for in private spaces.
I often imagine a day when we have leaders who genuinely prioritize creating more parks, planting trees along our roads, and building safe bike lanes. Imagine being able to step outside, walk or bike around, sit under a tree, and simply relax, just like the feeling you get at Ayala Triangle.
#pinoy #philippines #ph
